I am the mother of one of Billy's close friends. We knew him since we moved to MIssouri in 2003 . He befriended my son, when he didn't know any one else. Billy had recently had finished chef's school, was a working chef when he had this accident. He loved family, and spent time with his close friends and family bowling, fishing, video games, etc. A really fine young man. He will be missed. It is said if you have one close friend, you can count yourself rich. Billy had a whole handful of really close friends--they considered each other family.

Dont be haten on Billy, accidents happen! There's not one person in this world who constantly keeps their attention on the road when they are driving. Also how the heck would you know if he was messing with his radio? You dont! Just so you know he didnt have a radio in his car so dont go blabbing your mouth talkin [censored] that you know nothing about! Billy was a dear friend of my brothers and Im not going to let you get on the internet and start talking lies when you dont even know what the hell your talking about.

Hester passed us half over in our lane right before running head on into the guy behind us. I was a passenger in our van and saw Hester messing with his radio not watching the road at all he was straddling the double yellow when he passed us. He kept on then drifted fully into the oncoming lane when I saw the headlights of the other guy coming behind us. They both disappeared as we went around a corner with trees and I thought perhaps at the last second he got back over. About 10 min down the road we saw a Sheriff lights and sirens I said,"He hit them!" we turned around and drove back and gave our report.
What a sad thing to the unsuspecting family and the family Hester left, just not paying attention to driving.
