Two families from Ash Grove felt that way when they were looking for a place to hold their wedding. They ended up saying their "I do's" at their grandparents' barn.
They cleaned up the "Red Barn" and now it's available for others to use. They are currently renovating the whole thing and it's becoming quite popular among couples.
The Round Barn is more than just a barn to Stephanie Dean, which is why she got married in it.
"This barn has been a really special place for my husband and he's grown up here most of his life and it just seemed very fitting for our personalities."
She says it used to just be a hay barn and they turned it into something people can use.
"We have renovated the inside. We put a new floor in. We've done some structural engineering. And we've added restrooms, a changing room for the brides and an entry way for their guests to come in."
Although it is being renovated, she says most of the original barn remains the same.
"We just thought it was a really special thing and we didn't want it to go to waste."
Rene Mallory is getting married in the barn in September and she says it was the first and only place she looked.
"I found it online. I was looking up places that were unique and I wanted it to be outside."
She says once she saw the Round Barn, that was it.
"We found this place and came out and looked at it and just fell in love with it."
Mallory says she loves the barn's multiple parts.
"Then we found out that we could actually have the wedding ceremony down by the creek back behind here and we're actually going to have our ceremony by the creek and have the reception at the barn."
She says it's so easy for an outdoorsy person like herself to love this location.
"The atmosphere, I grew up with horse, and being outside and nature, and I just love to be outside in the country."
And the best part, says Dean, is it's not like your typical party venue.
"There are not any octagon barns around here especially stone barns that have been around for more than 100 years."

"Round Barn" can hold 250 plus people. Its open house is Saturday,
