UPDATE: Carthage, MO Police Identify Murder Victim

(Carthage, MO) -- Police release the name of a murder victim found in the water near Spring River on April 25, 2012.
Carthage Police Chief Greg Dagnan says the department is investigating the death of Mario Gonzales, 43.
He was living in a homeless campsite near where his body was found. An autopsy is underway to determine the exact cause of death.
Chief Dagnan says Gonzales' girlfriend had been looking for him for a couple hours when she discovered the body.
Dagnan says Gonzales did not have any family in the area.
