UPDATE: Nevada, MO Teen Admits to Faking Pregnancy

(Nevada, MO) -- A Missouri teen who disappeared last week and was found safe admits she faked a pregnancy for nine months.
The 17 year old sparked a search and widespread concern because she was believed to be close to her due date when she disappeared April 16. The girl's roommate reported her missing.
Relatives and friends reported getting text messages indicating she had given birth to a baby that didn't survive.
On Sunday the girl was found in Pleasant Hill in Cass County with no sign of a baby.
Police say at first she refused to cooperate but eventually admitted that she faked the pregnancy.
