(Carl Junction, MO) ---For the last three months, city officials have worked with more than a dozen students from Drury University in Springfield.
The students have made suggestions to build or revamp nine locations around Carl Junction.
The ideas include everything from sports complex to a veterans' memorial to a mammoth park.
The students are only 75-percent complete with their plans, but so far city officials and residents like what they see.
"They were very impressed with what the students had done and were very excited about the possibilities that the parks hold for us," says Carl Junction City Administrator Steve Lawver.
The plans are set up at city hall and Carl Junction residents can come by and tell city leaders what they think.
