(Springfield, Mo.) -- Missouri State men's basketball assistant coach
Steve Woodberry will take a similar position at Tulsa University, according to multiple reports on Saturday.
Missouri State University has not confirmed the news, but said Saturday evening that Woodberry was interested in the position, and the university is awaiting the official word from Tulsa.
Woodberry will work with fellow Kansas alum, and recently-hired Tulsa coach, Danny Manning.
Woodberry was spotted at the Tulsa Golden Hurricane football spring game Saturday, with Manning, sporting a Tulsa basketball warm up jacket.
Woodberry was hired at Missouri State in the summer of 2006, and has served on the bench under Barry Hinson, Cuonzo Martin and Paul Lusk.
