(Springfield, MO)--The Glendale Falcons have a new football coach going into the holiday weekend.
Springfield schools athletic director Mark Fisher hiring Rogersville offensive coordinator Tyler Overstreet.
Overstreet is also an assistant baseball coach at Rogersville and he's in the hoodie in this video.
Overstreet played quarterback for the Nixa Eagles and graduated in 2002.
He's been the offensive coordinator for the last two seasons at Rogersville and the Wildcats won the state championship last season.
Overstreet's excited getting his first head coaching shot.
"It's going to be alot more than just overseeing one side of the ball," said new Glendale football coach Tyler Overstreet. "But I feel like I've had many experiences in my young coaching career that has prepared me for this. Irt's one of those things that I'll learn as I go along.."
