(Columbia, Mo.) -- The Nixa Eagles will play for a Class 5 state championship on Saturday Mizzou Arena in Columbia.

Nixa (30-1) beat Marquette last night 59-42 in the semifinals and have now won 30-straight games.

That sets up a match up with defending champion McCluer North in Saturday's final. Tip is set for 4:50 p.m.

The game will be broadcast live on Fox Sports Midwest.

Both Nixa and Marquette were off to slow starts on Thursday.

The Eagles had an off night from the floor in the first half but took control in the final two quarters.

Nixa has two state championships, one each in Class 2 and 3, but has never won it all in Class 5.

"We need today to talk regroup, practice and work out," said coach Jay Osborne. "I'm going to like having a day to prepare. I think we'll play a little better Saturday. I think our kids will be a little more focused and understand what's at stake and we're looking forward to it. Kids are pretty resilient, and this group is and I think they're going to play extremely hard Saturday and they're going to be excited about playing for a championship, as well they should be."
