Missouri State Kicks Off Spring Football

A little rain couldn't keep Missouri State football coach Terry Allen or his Bears from hitting the Plaster Sports Complex Tuesday. It's day one of 15 scheduled spring practice sessions which will culminate with the maroon and white game April 21st. Coach Allen will welcome a number of new faces, only seven starters return from last year's squad that was 2-and-9.
Missouri State also has a new offensive coordinator in Rob Christophel who's bringing in a no-huddle heavy passing offense.
Five starters return on offense, with only two on defense.
