New Ride Opening at Silver Dollar City

Something big is about to launch at Silver Dollar City. The Branson amusement park is updating the old-fashioned fun of barn-swinging with a new giant swing.
The $6 million ride swings riders more than seven stories in the air. Compressed air power launches the ride 75 feet high at speeds up to 45 miles per hour.
If being flung into the air isn't your thing, two silo-themed climbing towers were built right next to the giant swing.
The swing is set to open to the public in April.
