The Missouri State baseball team had a chance to earn it's first series sweep of the season Sunday afternoon.
Keith Gutton's squad, looking to take all three games from South Dakota State.
The Bears outscored the visitors 16-2 over the past two days. But Sunday was payback, perhaps.
Bears down one in the bottom of the seventh, Nolan Keane spanks one to center, the center fielder, having some trouble with the sun, drops it. Keane would make it to second but would be stranded.
In the eighth, more trouble out in center, this time Ben Woodbury loses the ball in the sun at the track. The runner gets all the way to third on the play.
And a couple of batters later, this RBI single would drive the runner in. As the Bears fall, six-three.
