The experts at the Butterball Turkey Talk-Line are ready to help you prepare a delicious Thanksgiving turkey.
Mary Clingman, director of the Turkey Talk-Line, shares using a meat thermometer is the best way to know when your turkey is done.
She says many of the more than 100,000 questions they get at this time of year involve thawing.
If you don't have time to thaw your turkey in the refrigerator, Clingman advises immersing it in cold water.
She says it takes a half-hour per pound to thaw a turkey that way.
Clingman says consumers can either call the Turkey Talk-Line at 1-800-288-8372, use the Butterball website's live chat option or check out their cooking tips and other information on Facebook or Twitter.
