Stone County Landmark Burns

An early morning fire takes center stage at an amphitheatre in Stone County.
It happened at the Black Oak Mountain Ampitheatre near Lampe.
Crews on scene first saw small flames coming from under the stage yet it wasn't until they cut a hole in the stage that they realized that fire was spreading quickly.
Dozens of firefighters then descened on the scene to cut holes in the stage and put that blaze out.
Crews say rooms and hallways underneath made it difficult to fight the fire.
Investigators tell us the fire started in a large trash barrel that was left burning.
