Lady Bears Lose Eighth Straight Game

The Missouri State Lady Bears came into Saturday afternoon in unfamiliar territory. In last place in the Missouri Valley Conferece, and losers of seven in a row.


They were looking to looking to snap that streak on the road, against third-place Northern Iowa. The Panthers are just one of two conference teams the Lady Bears have beaten this season.


The Panthers took the double-digit lead on this three by Kristen Ferris, 22-12.

Less than a minute left in the half, mMlissa Busby hits her only three of the day, Lady Bears head into the lockeroom down four.


Second half, Erica Biel the rebound, layup and the foul. It's a one-point game.


Then Tiff Terwelp gets left all alone, she'll hit the first three of her college career. Lady Bears down four, 56-52.


Then Tiff to Breton Wyett, the hoop and the harm, it's a one-point game, the Panthers still up.


The Lady Bears would take the lead on free-throws, but they'd find themselves down double-digits again on this three by Traci Ollendike. She had a career-high 26 points on 5 of 8 shooting from downtown.

And the Lady Bears fall, 90 to 72. Missouri State hosts Creighton next Friday.
