Investigation into Dog Attack Continues

Investigators in Pulaski County are still trying to figure out why two dogs apparently attacked a six year old girl Tuesday.

Pulaski County Sheriff J.B. King deputies were called to a home near Dixon where they were told a six year old girl was attacked by a German shepherd and a Rottweiler.

The girl was ultimately taken to a Springfield hospital with critical injuries.

Sheriff King says the girl is in critical but stable condition.

No arrests have been made and no charges have been filed.
King says there are no vicious dog ordinances in Pulaski County.
