Drury Women Grab First Place 70-67

It was a battle for sole possession of first place in the Great Lakes Valley Conference West at the Weiser gym Thursday night. Both Drury and SIU Edwardsville cruised into the game with identical 9-and-4 records.

Lady Panthers down four late in the game Molly Carter's three rolls in. It's a one-point game, 61-60 Edwardsville.

Late in the game, Molly to Caitlin Shouse for two. It's still a one-point game, 64-63, Edwardsville still with the lead.

We're tied at 67 with seconds left, Becky Flippin out to a wide-open Hannah Carter, the three at the buzzer, good and that's a winner.

And the Lady Panthers grab sole possession of first place 70 to 67.
