Thousands of people in the Ozarks want to help their neighbors through the ice storm recovery.
The State Emergency Management Agency is partnering with AmeriCorp to match volunteer groups with people who need help, especially with clearing debris from their yards.
To sign up with AmeriCorp, you are urged to get a group together at church, work or through civic or neighborhood organizations, and then call 1-888-377-2100.
