Lady Bears Topple Sycamores

The Missouri State Lady Bears started a two game Valley road trip Thursday night at Indiana State. The Lady Bears tipped off the game 4-and-8, winless in the conference.

Missouri State's Tahnee Balerio hobbled by a sprained ankle, wearing special shoes and braces, but playing o-k.

The Lady Bears made a late first half run behind Roxy Stiles, she hits this three from the near side. And then the freshman splashes another three from the far wing, Missouri State down by seven at the break.

Second half, another Lady Bear run, the defense forces a turnover and Balerio with the court length pass to Melissa Busby for the hoop, Lady Bears with the lead 56-55.

Then Tiff Terwelp leaps into the passing lane, gets the steal and all the way in for two, Terwelp celebrating her 21st birthday.

And then Stiles would cap the comeback with this three, she had a career high 19 points and the Lady Bears win their first conference game 83-76.
