Lady Bears Square Off With WSU

It will be a double header of Missouri State basketball Sunday afternoon at Hammons Student Center. Before the men do battle, the Lady Bears will entertain Wichita State with a noon tipoff. Wichita State swept the series last season.
The Lady Bears have shifted gears with their defense since entering conference play, moving from their 2-3 matchup zone to man to man. The zone's not in the trash can, the Lady Bears are just keeping the opponents on their toes.
Tiff Terwelp/Lady Bears Center:" We're just trying to confuse our opponents. All the Valley teams really know our zone. We're just trying to switch it up and confuse them."
Roxy Stiles/Lady Bears Guard:"They know our 2-3 and are running things against it. It's always good to switch it up against teams, and confuse them a little bit. We're getting there, but more to confuse them."
