Branson Police Spot-Check Liquor Compliance

(Branson, MO) -- Branson police put restaurants and bars to the test last Friday to see if booze was being sold to minors.
They went to 18 businesses and officers say clerks in only half of those checked id's and enforced the 21 age rule.
9 of 18 Businesses Failed:
Garfields, Bar Louie, Waxy O'Shea's Irish Pub, Montana Mike's, Red Lobster, B.T. Bones, Paradise Grill, Moon River Grill, Lonestar Steakhouse.
Two minors working with police were able to buy alcohol in nine of the 18 locations. Those clerks were given citations.
