(Jefferson City) -- As summer heats up, so does safety belt enforcement.
Law enforcement officers will be cracking down on child safety seat violations.
This year's campaign runs from May 18th until the 31st.
Last year 489 people killed in traffic crashes were not wearing a safety belt.
