Trooper's Vehicle Involved in Crash

(Waynesville, MO) -- Two people were hurt after their car hit the back of a Missouri Highway Patrol vehicle on Monday in a chain reaction crash. It happened just after 1:00 p.m.
The trooper's car was driveable after the accident and he wasn't hurt. A patrol spokesperson says the people in the car were not at fault because a semi behind them couldn't stop in time.
That large semi pushed their car into the trooper's. The two people in the middle car were seriously hurt and taken to the hospital.
The accident happened at the 159 mile marker on I-44 near Waynesville.
