Evangel Preps For Season Finale

The Evangel Crusaders will wrap up the regular season Saturday afternoon at home against Graceland.

And the Crusaders will be trying to go out with back to back wins and a 6-and-5 record.

It's the last week of the regular season and at Evangel it's throwback jersey week.

The players, and today even the coach, wore their high school jerseys.

It keeps the kids loose.

Saturday's game against Graceland won't be easy, the Yellowjackets are 6-and-3 but even that record won't make the playoffs.

Evangel's seniors are looking forward to this last challenge of their college football careers.

Tim Michaux/Evangel Senior:"We all are just having fun out here right now. We're enjoying it, the brotherhood of being with the guys. There are so many memories that we're going to walk away with."

Scott Metcalf/Evangel Coach:"We have a great senior class. We have 18 seniors on this team. Granted they all play different roles on this team but their leadership and their character is phenominal. And that's exciting to see and it carried down through the ranks on the team. And we're going to miss them."
