(Little Rock, AR) -- State spending priorities and the matter of a 300-million-dollar surplus will be among the issues facing the Legislature this week as it concludes its regular session.
Two proposed constitutional amendments also await action. One would make hunting, fishing, trapping and harvesting wildlife a constitutional right.
The other would lower the threshold for issuing state bonds with the goal of attracting industry to the state.
Among 13 tax-cut bills under consideration is one that would create an annual sales-tax holiday.
