Entergy Lowers Electric Rates

(Little Rock, AR) -- Thousands of Arkansans have lower electric bills to look forward to starting next month.
Entergy Arkansas Incorporated residential rates will drop about 8-percent beginning April 1 because of an annual adjustment in the fuel and purchased energy rider.
The monthly bill for a typical residential customer using 1,000 kilowatt-hours of electricity will decrease from $112 to $103.
Entergy's president and CEO says he's pleased to offer savings to customers in the current economic situation.
