Bryan Offering Tuition Breaks

(Springfield, MO) -- One college in Springfield is trying to make education more affordable for people who are out of a job.
Bryan College launched its "Retooling our Workforce" program.
The initiative offers tuition discounts for people who have lost their job and are in a transition period.
Applicants for the program may qualify for a tuition savings of 60 to 72 percent.
The program in available to U.S. residents who have experienced:
-loss of employment due to company closing within the past 12 months and are eligible for retraining benefits
-loss of employment due to compnay relocating out of the U.S. due to NAFTA and are eligible for retraining benefits
-program will run through July 31,2009 and will be reassessed based on economic conditions
