(Crane, MO) -- More than two years ago, the community of Crane, Missouri was rocked by a fire. The Crane Presbyterian Church, which stood in its place more than a century, was burned to the ground.Since 1905, the church sat at the corner of Highway 13 in downtown Crane until an unexplained fire took it down in December 2006.
But now, the 100-member congregation has a new 8,000 square foot church. The reverend says several people from the community helped build the facility on State Highway 413.
There's an open house set for Saturday morning from 10:00 a.m to 2:00 p.m. and the first service is Sunday.
