(Houston, TX) -- Halliburton officials have announced they're ready to pay the Department of Justice one more big bill.
The oil services company has agreed to dole out 560-million dollars on behalf of former subsidiary KBR to settle corruption charges with the government.
The deal still faces approval by the Justice Department and the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Industry analysts say it should be the final chapter in Halliburton's effort to split ties with KBR, an energy construction firm and government contractor.
