There's sad news in the Texas League Baseball Community today.

Sunday night in Little Rock, Tulsa Drillers first base coach Mike Coolbaugh was killed after being hit in the head by a line drive during the ninth inning against the Arkansas Travelers.

This is video of the drillers in a recent match-up with the Springfield Cardinals here in town.

The blow at last night's game knocked Coolbaugh unconscious, and he was given CPR on the field before being taken to a Little Rock hospital, where he later died.

As a result of that accident, tonight's Drillers game has been canceled.

Coolbaugh was a former major leaguer and played with the Saint Louis Cardinals back in 2002. He was thirty-five years old.
