Police Still Searching Leads For Rape Suspect

Investigators are still looking for clues after a man allegedly rapes a Greene County woman in her own backyard.

The attack happened north of Springfield at Highway 80 off H Highway.

The Sheriff's Department got a call yesterday morning from a woman saying she had been attacked. The search for the suspect was called off last night, but investigators are still looking for clues and any possible leads in this case.

The victim was able to give a description of the suspect. He's described as a white male, medium to short build, dark colored hair and thick dark hair on his arms. He also had light tan work gloves that were darker from use.

Authorities ask, if you see anyone matching that description, to call 911.
