One of Missouri's lawmakers in charge of budgeting will be visiting a Greene County facility today.
The Greene County Commission is hosting Representative Allen Icet, chairman of the Missouri House Budget Committee, as he tours the county's overcrowded Juvenile Justice Center.
Commissioners say the center is in critical need of more space, and expanding the state-mandated facility is one of their top priorities.
But that expansion requires a partnership with the state for construction and operation.
Today's tour starts at 3:00 pm.
