It was a deadly weekend on Ozarks roads with crews working two different crashes in the area.

Just after midnight Lindsay Wilkins of La Russell was killed when her car ran off the road and struck a tree.

The accident happened on Route U about four miles south of La Russell.

The 27-year-old was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected.

She was pronounced dead a few hours after that crash by the Jasper County Coroner.

Up north in Benton County, 47-year-old Larry Miller was killed while riding his motorcycle.

The crash happened along Highway 7 after Raymond Findley of Edwards turned infront of the oncoming bike.

Miller hit the car, was thrown from the motorcycle and died at the scene.

Eighty-three year-old Findley got a ticket for careless driving.

He and a passenger were treated for minor injuries.
