Sycamores Run Away From Bears 68-60

TERRE HAUTE, In--Paul Lusk and his Missouri State Bears opened a two game Valley road trip Wednesday night in Terre Haute.
It's a critical swing for a Bears team that's trying to rebound from a 22 point loss to 12th ranked Creighton.
Both the bears and sycamores tipped off the game tied for fourth place in the valley.
Lusk was looking for his second straight win in Terre Haute.
And the Bears took control in the first half, freshman Gavin Thurman with a long two, foot on the line, it's 9-4 Missouri State.
Thurman led the Bears with 18 points.
Then Christian Kirk working on the block, he banks it off the glass, 19-16 Bears.
Indiana State's Jake Odum with the turnover, Anthony Downing gets the ball, stops and pops, it's 27-18 Missouri State.
The Bears were up by four at the half.
Second half, more Missouri State, the dish to Kirk on the baseline and the dunk it's 36-34 Bears.
The rest of the game belonged to Indiana State.
The Sycamores Dawon Cummings with the three pointer, it's 37-36 Indiana State.
Then Jake Odum picks Kirk's pocket then goes coast to coast for the hoop it's 39-36.
Later the Sycamores Manny Arop beats the buzzer with this three pointer, 44-37.
He was one of four Sycamores with ten points, Indiana State wins 68-60.
