Wedding Expo Attracts Hundreds from Around the Ozarks

SPRINGFIELD, MO. -- Brides to be from around the Ozarks gathered in Springfield Sunday to work on planning their weddings.
The annual Metropolitan Bridal Expo offered brides an inside look at wedding vendors, so they could learn all about planning a wedding.
The event was at the Springfield Expo Center.
Wedding dresses, caterers, and wedding bands were all on display.
The expo wasn't just for brides; the man tent covered everything a groom would need as well.
Brides that preregistered were entered in to win a gown from Ella Weiss Wedding Design.
Raffle tickets could also be purchased to win other prizes.
The money raised from the raffle benefits Springfield's Backpack Program.
