Greene County Sheriff Unveils App for Smartphone Users

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- The Greene County Sheriff is now offering smartphone users a chance to stay connected with his office.
Sheriff Arnott has unveiled an app for iPhone and Android users.
"This technology enables the Sheriff's Office to get information out to citizens regarding crime and emergency alerts," says the sheriff in a statement Tuesday.
The app offers active Greene County warrants, a list of current inmates, a sex offender list, an employee director, and crime tip hotline.
