And Monday night the school recognized the state champs and unveiled a brand new state championship banner.
Then the Lady Tigers went to work mauling Central.
Republic starts by swinging the ball around the horn to Alice Heinzler, and she swishes the three pointer, 3-nothing.
Central could not handle the pressure Republic defense, Heinzler with the steal, and the senior takes it coast to coast for the layup, it's 11-nothing Lady Tigers.
The Bulldogs could not get the offense in gear in the first quarter, here Micah Mansker tips the inbounds pass right to Alex Botkin.
Botkin takes it in for the layup, it's 24-nothing Republic.
And the defending state champs roll 57-14.
