Elmo made an appearance in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, despite the recent scandal surrounding the "Sesame Street" character's puppeteer. Kevin Clash resigned from the show Tuesday after he'd been accused of having a sexual relationship with a minor. He has denied the allegation. On a float in Thursday's parade, another puppeteer operated the Elmo puppet as it sang a song with other "Sesame Street" characters. Clash and the other performers had recorded the song before his resignation.

A Sesame Workshop executive told the New York Times they never considered pulling Elmo from the parade.

Jon Bon Jovi is opening up about his daughter Stephanie's recent drug arrest. He tells Los Angeles' Fox 11 that, "things happen," but his family will get through it. He said he and his daughter are "good." The 19-year-old was arrested for drug possession by police responding to a report that she had been found unconscious in her college dorm room in upstate New York. The charges were later dropped.

Chevy Chase is dropping out of "Community." According to "The Hollywood Reporter,  chase and the producers of the NBC sitcom came to a mutual agreement that the actor should leave the series, effective immediately. He is expected to appear in next years' series finale of the show, which has developed a cult following. Its fourth season premieres February 7.
