Joplin Police Working to Unravel Shooting Death of Woman

JOPLIN -- Police in Joplin say a woman who was injure din a shooting late Saturday night, has died of her injuries.
The shooting was reported shortly after 10 p.m. Saturday on 15th street near Michigan Avenue. Officers were called to an apartment complex there in response to a shooting.
When they got there, police found Monica Webb, 36, and her estranged husband Ronald Webb, 35, both suffering from gunshot wounds.
They were both rushed to Freeman Health System, where Monica later died, and Ronald remains in critical condition.
The shooting remains under investigation, and police have not taken anyone into custody at this time.
