COLUMBIA, Mo--Former Hillcrest Hornet and Mizzou receiver Dorial Green-Beckham tells the Kansas City Star that his arrest on marijuana possession was a mistake and that he can only learn from it and move on.
DGB says it should not have happened and it won't happen again.
The freshman receiver says he felt like he let his team down when he was suspended for one game following the arrest.
Green-Beckham has played in every other Mizzou game but only has seven catches for 128 yards and one touchdown.
The freshman told the star that he has struggled in his first season at Mizzou.
He says working through the playbook and the increased speed of SEC play have been issues.
DGB says that the touchdown catch at Central Florida gave him confidence and he has five games left to improve.
