SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- The Ozark Empire Fairgrounds is the place to be this weekend to check out hundreds of custom cars. It's time once again for the Street Machine Nationals!
The event attracts thousands of high performance, flashy and classic cars from around the nation and is held Saturday and Sunday this year. Shawn Myers with O'Reilly Auto Parts talks live with KOZL Morning News about what you can expect to see, along with details about admission and competitions.

The O'Reilly Auto Parts Fall Street Machine Nationals held at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds will open on Saturday, September 29th from 9:00am to 5:00pm and Sunday, September 30th from 9:00am to 3:00pm.
The event will showcase thousands of street machines, hot rods, and street trucks competing for Mickey Thompson Show-N-Shine awards. Vendors will be on hand with the latest aftermarket parts in the Performance Marketplace.
There will also be a Mickey Thompson burnout competition both Saturday and Sunday. A Demolition Derby will thrill the crowd on Saturday evening beginning at 5:00 pm.

Tickets are $10 in advance at participating O'Reilly Auto Parts locations. Children under 10 years of age are free with a paid adult. Tickets may also be purchased in advance online at www.StreetMachineNationals.net.
