Springfield Firefighters Learning Healthier Cooking

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Some Springfield firefighters are heading to cooking school this week.
Price Cutter is hosting a series of hands-on cooking classes for fire crews.
There will be two classes today, Tuesday and Wednesday at the Price Cutter at Republic Road and Kansas Expressway.
The purpose of the training is to teach firefighters how to cook healthy on a budget.
A recent study found the number one killer of firefighters is heart attacks.
With a busy schedule, cooking healthy can be difficult for some fire crews.
