We have new information tonight on a shooting at another Springfield nightclub.
Prosecutors have charged Jason Barton with attempted first degree robbery.
This all stems from an incident early Friday morning at Midnight Rodeo.
Officers say a man was leaving that nightclub around 12:45 a.m. when Barton approached the victim demanding money.
Barton aparently showed a handgun which followed in a struggle.
At some point, the gun fired but the bullet didn't hit anyone.
Barton ran away but was caught just a few minutes later.
He's being held in the Greene County Jail on $100,000 dollars bond.
