STRAFFORD,
When fire crews arrived, the home on
Strafford, Fair Grove and Ebenezer Fire responded. It took them more than an hour to put out the flames.
Officials aren't sure how the fire started. It damaged other structures like sheds and out buildings.
"Once
we have accounted that there is nobody inside and the amount of damage already
that it done already before we arrived, we weren't going to save
anything," says Fred Osbourn, Strafford Fire Protection District Fire
Chief. "We are just more worried about protecting other homes, other
property and the safety of the homeowners, the safety of the residents that
live around here and our firefighters."
No one was in the home at the time of the fire; no one was injured.
