SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Two new faces will soon join the KOLR10 and Ozarks Local KOZL-27 news teams.

We're pleased to announce that beginning in September, Ashley Ketz will co-anchor KOLR10 News at 5, 6, and 10 p.m. with David Oliver.

The Arkansas native is currently the primary weeknight anchor at KFSM in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

"Ashley's a natural fit for our news team and viewers will enjoy her upbeat, professional delivery," says KOLR/KOZL News Director Polly Van Doren-Orr. "Her deep roots in the Ozarks will help her immediately connect with the audience."

Also in September, Ketz's husband, Aaron Nolan, will join KOZL as co-anchor of Ozarks Local News at Nine. He is currently a general assignment reporter for KNWA, the NBC affiliate in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

"We are looking forward to Aaron's move to Springfield," adds Van Doren-Orr. "His enthusiasm will propel our 9 p.m. newscast to the next level."

More about Ashley Ketz

Ketz grew up in Batesville, Ark. and earned a degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. She joined KFSM as a reporter in 2006 and was soon promoted to morning anchor.

In her current role as evening anchor for KFSM's 5, 6 and 10 p.m. newscasts, Ketz also solo anchors the 9 p.m. newscast on KFSM's news partner, KXNW. She also reports on medical issues and she advocates for early cancer detection.

In her free time, Ketz is a volunteer for the Alzheimer's Association, the Miss Heart of the Ozarks Scholarship Association and the Lemke Alumni Society Board for the University of Arkansas.

She and husband Aaron enjoy spending time with their cat and dog, Izzy and Oscar. Ketz says she and Nolan met in the newsroom of KARK in Little Rock in 2008.

More about Aaron Nolan

Before KNWA, Nolan spent four years at KARK, the NBC affiliate in Little Rock, Arkansas as a sports anchor and reporter for "Razorback Nation."

"I am thrilled to be a part of the growing news team at KOZL/KOLR as the new anchor for KOZL at 9 p.m.," says Nolan.

A native of Maumelle, Arkansas, Nolan attended Evangel University in Springfield before graduating from the University of Central Arkansas with a degree in Telecommunications.

Nolan adds that while he's focused on telling great news stories, he looks forward to taking an active role in developing the 9 p.m. newscast and its audience.

Nolan is a sports fan who enjoys rooting for the Razorbacks and says he's looking forward to the Mizzou Tigers' move to the SEC. In his spare time, Nolan can be found on the golf course trying to lower his score and spending time with his wife.

In addition to co-anchoring the 9 p.m. newscast, Nolan will report for evening newscasts on KOLR.
