(Omaha, NE)--The Arkansas Razorbacks will open up play in the College World Series Saturday afternoon against Kent State.
The Hogs are making their seventh appearance in the national championship event.
Yesterday, Arkansas took part in the mandatory 50 minute workout at T.D. Ameritrade Park.
Friday early morning rain forced coach Dave Van Horn to take his Razorbacks to Creighton's indoor facility.
Arkansas survived an extra inning showdown with Baylor advancing to Omaha with a 1-nothing victory.
Kent State upset Oregon to punch their ticket.
"It's going to be exciting," said Arkansas pitcher B.J. Baxendale. "It's been growing everyday. The opening ceremony being cancelled but still having the dinner last night. It was a lot of fun. We're getting excited we're real close now and I feel we're ready to go.."
