Local Event Today for World Blood Donor Day

(Springfield, MO)-- You have the chance to get a free lunch and help save a life.
Today is World Blood Donor Day.
The Community Blood Center of the Ozarks is celebrating with a barbecue and blood drive.
It's happening at their location at Campbell Avenue and Plainview Road.
Registration starts at 11:00 a.m. and the blood drive goes until 6:00 p.m.
You're encouraged to wear red to help form a giant human blood drop in the north parking lot.
