State House To Adjourn Fiscal Session Today

(Little Rock, AR)--The Arkansas House of Representatives are set to adjourn the fiscal session Friday at noon.
15 minutes after adjournment, representatives will gather to choose the next Speaker of the House. The candidates are Rep. Terry Rice of Waldron and Rep. Darrin Williams of Little Rock.
Every state representative will vote by secret ballot. A candidate must have 51 votes in order to win. The Speaker presides over the chamber and is elected by the membership every two years.
