H.S. Girls Basketball: Republic Beats Bolivar For District Title

(Republic, MO)--Another girls championship was in class 4 district 11 Republic against Bolivar.
And the Tigers getting pressed but Alex Botkin gets it to Alice Heinzler who swishes t he 15 footer, two of her 6 points, and it's 8-3 Republic.
Bolivar with the half court pass to Peyton Peavey, back to the basket and the turnaround, it was a one point deficit.
But Republic would build a lead at the end of the quarter, the skip pass to Brooke Dutton, a wide open three pointer, it's 11-7 Tigers.
Then end of the quarter, Dutton with another three pointer, 18-11 Tigers.
And Republic wins the district championship 59-47.
