Trial Scheduled for Former Municipal Court Employee

The former employee accused of stealing money from the
Rhonda Bateman, a former clerk in the municipal court, is charged with three counts of felony stealing. Prosecutors say she stole more than one million dollars from the court over a period of ten years. Bateman handled cash, checks and credit cards for the court.
She was in court Thursday morning for the setting of her trial, which is scheduled for August 6th.
