The star of the Harry Potter films is moving his career forward with a very different role.
Daniel Radcliffe walked the red carpet in New York City last night for a special screening of the movie "The Woman in Black."
Radcliffe plays a widowed lawyer who's still grieving. He's sent to a remote village to sort out the affairs of an eccentric resident who recently died- but quickly realizes supernatural dangers lurk in the house.
"It is an extremely scary film," Radcliffe says. "People don't seem to be taking me seriously when I say that, cause they're still coming out going 'This is really scary' and I'm like yeah, no, it really is."
"The Woman in Black" opens nationwide this weekend.
Actress Halle Berry was back here at the Los Angeles County courthouse Monday for an ongoing custody battle.
Berry wants a judge to take away visitation privileges from Gabriel Aubry- the father of her three year old daughter. Berry's nanny has accused Aubry of pushing her into a door while she was holding the little girl.
Wikileaks founder Julian Assange is making an unlikely appearance-on the 500th episode of "The Simpsons." Entertainment Weekly reports Assange will play himself in a guest spot recorded over the summer. The episode airs February 19th.
